My apologies, I just opened my email for the first time in days!
First I want to compliment you and your staff for an outstanding job. You made it possible for me to enjoy the evening and not worry about a thing. The girls were all fantastic. They were always smiling and courteous and a delight. There was never an empty/dirty plate or glass on a table. You were wonderful and it was great to have you there overlooking everything.
The food was wonderful, Ed, Shelley and the rest of the kitchen staff were great and made sure that the tables were always full. It was lovely to see him take such pride in his work and service.
Your "advance" staff Tanya and all, were so helpful in helping my sister set up and made a stressful time easier. Even when she had to leave to get ready for the wedding, we knew they would have everything in place without us there--and they did! It looked beautiful. When the evening was coming to an end they were patient and never made us feel like we were keeping them late even though it was hard to make the guest leave they felt so well served! We know that both you and they had to stay & had more work to do after our evening was over. Though you may say this is your job, we never felt that anyone resented it.
We had our rehearsal dinner at one of the finer restaurants in Holland and the difference in service was remarkable. There were only 15 people and the service was less than stellar. By comparison your staff served our 75+ guests with grace and professionalism. They always had a smile on their faces, every detail was taken care of, and our guests felt special. Daniela and Frank, the bride and groom couldn't have had a better wedding reception at any "five star" venue than what your people provided.
You are a great asset to The Ravines. You have been a great help every step of the way and there was always a "yes" even when my requests might have been out of the ordinary.

We hired the Ravines for our 100 person rehearsal dinner, which was close to a full wedding in size. Mallory came on board partway through planning and did a good job stitching everything together, though it seems like having records more automated and saved would make things easier and more straightforward. She worked with me to special order wine, which was a straightforward process. Appreciated the food tasting ahead of time. People enjoyed the food - the mushroom ravioli were a star. Bar service was fast, never saw a line. The room is comfortable and spacious - big windows and gray walls/white chairs are a great look.

Our experience with the Ravines was absolutely FABULOUS! The food & drinks were fabulous and the space is absolutely beautiful! Mallory is so accommodating and really is there to help you through the process so you don't need to worry about a thing. We had approximately 130 guests and it was PERFECT. This is my opinion - but I don't think I would put too many more than 150 in the room itself. I completely understand that you're only in the banquet room to eat, but I couldn't imagine over 20+ in that space. We loved having the separate dance floor from the dining area. It really allowed for people to sit down and chat while others would be at the bar and dance.
The overall experience was absolutely fabulous and the grounds are beautiful! I HIGHLY recommend.

The Ravines Golf Club was the most beautiful wedding ceremony and reception venue! It was out of a dream! The location was perfect, the room was gorgeously appointed, and the view from the reception room was idyllic for our evening reception! We got married on a rainy weekend (it had been torrentially raining the whole week leading up to the wedding), with an outdoor evening wedding on the gorgeous grounds of the golf club. Somehow, the rain broke for a few hours to give us the most perfect wedding ceremony! The ceremony site is set amidst bushes of fragrant flowers, with perfectly manicured lawns, and within a very short walking distance from the club house/reception hall. The bride and wedding party entered across a wooden bridge that goes through the trees: a scene out of a fairytale and so calming as you walk towards the altar!
Mallory and her staff handled the event with ease and grace! Many things went wrong on my end the two days leading up to the wedding, but they were flexible, communicative, and SO GREAT! They set up the ceremony and the reception according to my instructions, but honestly 10 times better than I could even have hoped! They used their expertise in the industry to build on my instructions and truly create works of art on the table, in the decor, the alter, and everywhere I looked! I trusted their knowledge and experience (and had no choice because I didn’t have time to go over everything!) and everyone was raving about it! Everywhere I looked I was shocked and in love! Everything was picture perfect, and truly my dream wedding!
